Kvantim LLM
A classic transformer model rebuilt from an open-source model base, so it can be trained and specialised for a domain instead of frozen at release. In development — for organisations and technical partners, not a general consumer chatbot.

In development — honestly labelled
Status: In development. Active implementation; it is not something you can rely on yet.
Kvantim LLM is a classic transformer-type model in the same broad category as other modern language models. It starts from an open-source model base, which the Kvantim team is rebuilding for further training and specialisation. The aim is not another fixed general chatbot — it is a model foundation that can be developed around defined data, evaluations and business requirements.
What “rebuilt from an open-source base” will mean publicly
What we will publish before release
- The base model and its licence, named before release.
- Which layers, training pipeline or architecture components Kvantim has changed.
- Whether a change is continued pre-training, fine-tuning, adapter training or retrieval — described plainly.
- What is owned by Kvantim and what remains under the upstream licence.
- An evaluation method, published before we use the word “benchmarked”.
Until those are approved, this page describes the direction, not finished results.
Intended specialisation tracks
One model, intended specialisation tracks
These are the directions we intend to develop from Kvantim LLM — not six finished models today. Each becomes real only when it has a model artifact, training state, evaluation and licence to show.
- Analysis — research, analysis and reporting.
- Office work — documents, proposals, spreadsheets, CRM and email.
- Code — programming and integrations across systems.
- Vision — reading and reasoning over images and documents.
- Local / on-device — a smaller model for private, offline use.
